A Feast of Ramadan Around The World @ Sun & Surf Cafe, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa

Delicious Ramadhan Buffet @ Sun & Surf Cafe
  • I was delighted as I yet to have another Ramadhan Feast and this time is at Sun & Surf Cafe, Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa. Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa takes on the magnificence of different cultures around the world as dishes from various countries unite in its Buka Puasa buffets at the flagship 5-star Hotel's Sun & Surf Cafe and the 4-star Pyramid Tower Hotel's Atrium Cafe.
  • From Wednesday, 9th August to 10th September 2010, alongside the wide array of traditional local favourites, sumptuous dishes from Iran, Morocco, Turkey, Tunisia, Lebanon, China, India and many more are featured every sunset during the holy month.

My first review for Sunway Hotel ... so excited and wait to enter to the cafe.
  • Sun & Surf Cafe's Ramadhan Buffet is priced at RM98++ per adult and RM 49++ per child, and served from 6pm to 10pm nightly.
  • Atrium's Ramadhan Buffet is priced at RM 85++ per adult and RM 42.50++ per child.
  • To make dining more convenient and rewarding, both restaurants are offering 25% discount from 9th to 17th August and 7th to 10th September 2010. Additionally, the month-long feast will also enable lucky diners to win air tickets to various destinations around the world.

I noticed they served Middle Eastern fare alongside M'sian dishes. Hummus is a nice condiment to go with bread.

No baklava (typical Middle Eastern dessert? I am so used to hearing people rave about baklava but after having tasted it one time...I can't seem to understand the fuss. I am not a fan of baklava as it's filled with nuts and dried fruits.
