Tegalalang Rice Terrace
- My 3rd day in Bali is to visit the Tegalalang Rice Terrace ... thou it was me and yve second time to come here but it was first time experience for my parents-in-law and baby dylan to enjoy the rice terrace view.
Very cure carving rite ...is carved from coconut itself ...
- Tegalalang village is famous with rice terrace, but now on the way go to tegalalang village both side of the road you find many shops with selling woodcarving.
- The first example of Balinese landscape is the rice-field. This is a typical scene in Bali. The terraced rice-field is typical of the beauty of the Balinese countryside.

During the growth period of the rice, the fields are periodic flooded.
Wet rice agriculture (sawah) is the basic and most important activity of Balinese life; Rice is the major crop and the staple food.

really salute their handicraft. They can think of a lot of things to make. Last round we came home with bags full of handicraft :p
