Jatiluwih Rice Terrace & Batukaru Restaurant, Bali - Day 2

Beautiful Ocean View & Rice Terrace (World Heritage) ...
  • If you are an adventure and loves to see a beautiful landscape this place is exacly the right one for you. It is strech from the foothill of the volcano of Batukaru to the south coast. The name Jatiluwih originally mean “sangat indah” in Indonesian or ” truly marvelous”.
  • It is deserve the name as along the way you will be amazed with the real part of Bali, the wonderful of true Balinese ambience, paddies harvesting, the flock of the duck, water buffaloes, farms houses, all that images to remember Bali in your heart.

Let me introduce my driver for my whole 5D 4N ... Yve manage to find this famous driver in Bali and his cost is RM 200+ for 5D 4N ... very cheap indeed but is a good money for him.
  • We went to BatuKaru restaurant at Jatiluwih for lunch ... The distance from Denpasar to Jatiluwih is about 48 km and it is situated in upstate of Tabanan town (28 Km).

The Batukaru Restaurant entrance ...

The wooden roof ...

Strong cooling wind blowing at us most of the time ... Dylan seems enjoying the air ...

The rice from Jatiluwih rice paddy field ... taste very good and soft.

My fried rice ...

Mixed Vegetables ...

Chicken Satay sticks ...

Holding one of the rice stalk ...

.
The magnificient view of the rice terrace ... too bad, the weather was cloudy ... not a good weather for photography at this splendid view ...

Jatiluwih is surrounded by cool atmosphere because it is located in the height of 700 meters above sea level. Edited picture.

This breathtaking panorama Jatiluwih is located in the north of Tabanan district, 13km due north of the town of Tabanan. A World Heritage site, noted for its sawah (rice terraces), Jatiluwih is a quiet part of Bali.

Really like this view a lot ...

Seems like going to rain ... time to go off to our next destination

i think we passed through this paddy field on our way to Tanah Lot, but the driver didn't allow us to get down, because we are rushing for the sunset.. anyway, it was raining and we only just snap few photos at Tanah Lot and left.. :(
