Green Fields Hotel and Restaurant - Day 2 stay in Ubud, Bali

A very unique experience stay in Green Fields Hotel...

  • About 20 years ago, Green Field was conceived as an art studio, where artists would simply be inspired by the wonders of nature, the rice fields, the sunset, the cackling ducks and the tall trees of Monkey Forest.
  • Owner Dewa Made Santana, a wellknown Balinese artist, has developed the area constantly until today to provide comfortable accommodations in a familiar atmosphere. In his gallery belonging to the hotel he likes to introduce the Ubud style of Balinese painting to the guest.
  • You would need to book this hotel few months ahead as it is always fully booked. Here I would like to share my second night stay in this amazing and luxury hotel in Ubud.

Took this little pond at the reception counter ...

  • The distance of this Hotel from the airport is within 45 minutes. Green Field Hotel is situated in a silent area surrounded by rice-fields.
  • In walking distance from the hotel, you can visit the Balinese Temples, Arma Museum, Monkey Forest, Yoga-Studio, Tibetan Sound Hall, Shops, Cafes, Organic Vegetable and Fruit Market.
  • You may use the free hotel shuttle car to explore the Dancing Performances in many Temples in Ubud, Puppet Show, Neka-Museum, Blanco-Museum, Museum Lukisan, Ubud Palace, Ubud Market, Post Office, and Ayurvedic Health Centre Bali.

The famous balinese umbrella ... I don't know what it is called in real ...

This is my room with Yve and Baby Dylan ...

Wow, love the art of the room door and window ... feel like I am living in a village ...

The bedroom ... Dylan love this bed so much ... he can flip and roll many rounds ...

The large bath tub in the marble toilet ... Dylan can even swim in this bath tub ...

Then Yve booked a much expensive room for her parents so they can sleep comfortably and enjoy the paddy field view ...

I would say that this is one of the most luxury room I have ever come across and stay in ...

Parents-in-law bedroom ...

The magnificient bathroom ...

The view was amazing and breath taking ...

The spa and massage room ...

The swimming pool area ...

Early morning, my dad in law woke up and perform his tai chi exercise ... he really enjoy the fresh air, the relaxing and beautiful paddy field view and the mist ...

My dream came true ... living in the paddy field ... I love this view so much ...

Can even see the morning water drops hanging on the paddies ...

Love this small little huts ...

The buddha statue in the resort ...

Got hibiscus flower in here also ... Malaysia's proud national flower ...

Little Stallone performing his stretch up ...

It is swimming time for Dylan ... walking towards the pool entrance ...

It is so early that no one dare to swim in this cold salt water pool ....

The view of the hotel swimming pool ...

Later, a kwai lou came and swim and enjoy the morning sun rise at the paddy field ...

Dylan try to warm up himself by kicking the water ...

Now you know why his luggage is so heavy ... yve brought the aeroplane baby float for Dylan to swim & play ...

Dylan says "Mommy, I can't swim and float myself in the baby pool, I want to swim in adult pool!!!" ....

After 30 mins of swimming, time to pack up and leave the pool ...

Are we in Hawaii? Nope, we are in Bali ... we had a amazing stay in this Green Fields hotel @ Ubud, Bali.

Lovely place indeed! It seems that most people who visited Bali also stayed in this resort.. No wonder it's always full!

Thanks for loving my pics & enjoying my post. I'm sure you will have the chance to bring Yve & Dylan to UK. The first pics I edited was using Photoshop.

I guess you can get all kinds of Chinese foods at China Town. It is the matter of delicious or not.. hehe..

p/s: how do u do the top view post? Izit ramdom rotate? or you manual works on it?

goin to jot down the name of the hotel, definitely a spot for a relaxing holiday, how much was the "more expensive" room anyways?
