DSLR Test Shots

Need your opinion ...
  • No more blurry image or over/under expose images with a DSLR camera ...
  • I took some time to test out the DSLR camera over the weekend ... gosh, the first thing impress me was the picture quality and the color of the picture compare to my old Olympus point & shoot camera.

Top picture: Manage to capture Dylan which ever direction he move. Middle picture: My main focus on the Astro remote control is the RGYB and the color of the buttons. But did not know it is so sharp till can capture the dust on the remote control. Bottom picture: No more blurry image on moving object ... manage to capture Dylan's facial expression when he is swimming ...
  • I did not edit or touch up all this pictures ... fresh from the memory card and just resize the image size only. The quality of the file size was reduce significantly.

Top picture: Actually this was zoom in from far with 18:200 mm lens and manage to capture it. Love the color balance outcome as the black and white color is the most outstanding color. Bottom picture: A very close-up potrait shot of Dylan when he is actively moving in the water.
  • I need personal feedback from the pro's out there ... your honest feedback will lead me to my improvement.

Looks great to me. The only feedback I have is the Top Picture of the colorful toys, it can be great if the lighting is much brighter. You can touch up with editing software.

Are you a DSLR beginner?

wooo~ Via~ you just got a new camera is it? hehe.. i personally like to take photo but then never consider to buy a DSLR camera also. Maybe is because i saw my sis in law (she got one). I saw her everytime must carry with the different lens and combine with the camera is look huge and big for me. That's why until now i never think to have one. Instead i just get myself a small digital camera because easy for me to carry around. But then again DSLR photo of course for sure is much better than a normal digital camera.. i do enjoy the high quality photo.. hehe so take more pictures and show us! =)

The one with the toys, you can expose it a bit more otherwise use photo shop to play with the levels or contrast, brightness.

The Astro controller is not so sharp, but not bad, Just 1/2 shutter it to get a more crisp picture.

Welcome to DSLR club! - next thing you know you will have cheaplak studio settings like me hahaha. Trust me, you will never touch your compact - again.

bro, angkat d90 already is it!!welcome to the dark side, thats what they call nikonians..

play around and get familiar with the functions, next thing you'll get poison to buy a flash gun. Not to forget the cheapo 50mm f1.8. I'll give you a creamier bokeh if you wanna do potrait..

Congrats on your journey to being a DSLR users!!

Hehehe.. Next step - get a pro account at Flickr to showcase your stuff. Lots of tips there.. ;-)

Anyway, I'm a member of photomalaysia & you can learn a lot from the sifus there. Be prepared to be lectured at but you get a lot of great feedback. ;-)

BTW, which brand gang you joined? Nikon or Canon? :D

Can share lens if you are Canon gang.. HAHAHAA...

My photography hobby is starting to cost me a lot of $$$. I'm saving for my next set of lens & filters. I've gotten my flashgun and loving it!
