Krabi La Playa Resort

Fly by Airasia.com ...
  • Finally the moment I have been waiting for ... it was a planned trip to destress ourself after taking care of Dylan for 4 months. Need to re-charge back our batteries and energy.
  • Depart from KL at 1.30pm ... the flight from KL to Krabi took 1 hr 10 minutes only.
  • We pre-order our lunch meal for cheaper price - the famous Nasi Lemak meal.

  • Got to know that there is no monsoon season except for raining season only. Anyway, the weather was perfect in the morning and noon. It only rains from 5-7pm.
  • Nice place to shop for souvenirs, shirts and decorative items. Food and drinks are cheap!

Krabi La Playa Resort review ...

  • Thanks to Yve for sponsoring the accomodation and flight tickets ... hahaha ... she planned everything and even the itenary. The itenary I modify a bit cause don't want snorkeling.
  • I got tough time to pronounce this resort name actually ... so I always tell my friend I will be staying at 'Playar' resort.
  • We upgraded our room to seaview by paying 1000 baht = RM 100 base on currency conversion (10 baht = RM 1)

  • I was fascinated by the room design esp the bathroom ... very nice with the huge bath tub.
  • The bedroom was spacious and mattress felt very comfy to sleep at.
  • The lacking part is they should upgrade to LCD flat screen!

  • This resort cater one of the best swimming pool in Krabi ...
  • In noon, lots of westerners sun bathing along the pool ...

  • If you stay in this resort ... it is a paradise for photographers ... many pics to be taken in here.
  • It's kind of safe staying at this resort cause outside the hotel, is the police station.

Hotel Breakfast ...
  • The package comes with Breakfast .... the food was not too bad actually.
  • Just that very limited choice of food only ... anyhow, this is a free breakfast ... cant comment much. As long is edible and taste alright.

  • I like their fried omellete egg ... damn kao huge for one person portion and she puts lots of ingredients for me.
  • My final day, they served carbonara spagetti .... YUMMY, just that it is not so creamy as I wanted it to be.

  • Oh yeah, the kuey teow noodles very weird in shape ... very big and flat ... taste ok.
  • Their fried pineapple rice was nice ... compare to Malaysia fried pineapple rice ...

  • There are many nice resort out there along the beach line ... you can google and check it out.
  • I enjoy the stay here except they need to beef up their English communication. The staff are very friendly, whenever you walk across them, they will say Hello or Sawadikah.
